Although Stell Wood is a relatively small woodland, it has a varied mix of species and generally shows a good growth rate when protected from the strong winds that evident. A detailed woodland growing stock is not available, below is a table of basic information gathered from the initial site visit that took place. The list of species is what was seen but is not regarded as complete.
